SharePoint Portals

The TWD SharePoint team is versed in SharePoint 2007/2010 and has MCITP and MCPD certified professionals to help you properly plan and implement an effective SharePoint deployment with the level of functionality that you need – on a single infrastructure that simplifies your site management. We also provide a full set of tools that you can use to create any kind of site on your own. Whether it’s a team site for colleagues, an extranet site for partners, or an Internet site for customers, SharePoint allows your users to access, share, and publish information easily – all in a familiar user interface that is similar to Microsoft Office.

Corporately, TWD has demonstrated experience deploying, administrating, and utilizing the tools associated with multiple collaboration services and systems. Following are examples of our work:

  • TWD provides the full spectrum of SharePoint product lifecycle services to the Naval Sea Systems Command’s Command Information Office which requires the oversight, collaboration, and management of applications infrastructure, hardware, and software.
  • Our support to NAVSEA consists of Tier I, II, and III help desk specialists that are responsible for maintaining and updating NAVSEA’s SharePoint cloud-based Web presence. Our team provides SharePoint administrative and technical training and support to the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) end-user community.
  • The TWD SharePoint delivery team facilitates the day-to-day operational support of the application services hosted in the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) cloud.
  • TWD supports SharePoint services that are credited with connecting 95,000 DoD employees today – with expansion plans to service more than 250,000 employees within the next twelve (12) months. 
  • TWD’s collaboration with NAVSEA, Microsoft, and DISA represents more than 50 separate Warfare Center SharePoint programs that will be brought together on a single platform and that will support more than 60,000 SharePoint Client Access Licenses (CALs).
  • Our relationships with NAVSEA, DISA, and Microsoft have enabled us to deliver a successful SharePoint environment that promotes information-sharing and collaboration between NAVSEA’s directorates. The solution facilitates organization's distributive/collaborate efforts, telework, and mobile workforce – and reduces the need for travel (and its related costs). 
  • Exceeding its original objectives and performance metrics, the TWD SharePoint delivery team enables users to search, access, find, edit, and share documents and information 24/7 in a Common Access Card (CAC)-enabled, DoD information assurance-approved environment.  
  • TWD collaborated with NAVSEA and Microsoft to develop content auditing solutions that help to monitor content for governance compliance.
