The VCS provides real-time, face-to-face meetings among USPS employees in approximately two hundred and seventy (270) locations across the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The IDIQ contract has a two-year base period with three one-year options.

“This program provides the USPS with a state-of-the-art, high-definition video conferencing system to help facilitate the efficient exchange of information needed to fulfill daily responsibilities on a national level,” said Larry Besterman, President and CEO of TWD. “We are proud to continue providing USPS with the peace of mind that employees will have access to reliable communications technology for face-to-face collaborations.”

Under the contract, TWD will manage, operate, host and maintain USPS video conferencing and streaming video; monitor and maintain equipment at each of the VCS sites; provide additional components or systems as required; and maintain VCS software components, providing patches and updates as they become available. Specific capabilities to be provided by TWD include, but are not limited to:

  • Description of functionality and definition of requirements for any new equipment to supplement or replace existing VCS equipment as required
