TWD & Associates Launches Advisory Board of Senior Government, Industry Executives

Company Makes Strategic Investment to Continue Growing its Public Sector Business

McLean, VA – January 27, 2015 – TWD & Associates, Inc. (TWD), a communication and collaboration solutions provider, today announced the launch of its Advisory Board. Consisting of recently retired senior executives from the public sector, the new Advisory Board will provide strategic direction to help guide the company’s federal market business. The members’ collective experiences offer a new perspective to TWD’s leadership, enabling the company to optimize their service offerings and pursuits to meet agency requirements.

Each of the members has proven experience in advancing the government’s mission, and represent distinct areas of federal IT and operations. The TWD Advisory Board members include:

• Lee Cooper, a retired U.S. Air Force Officer, has an extensive background in business development, sales, strategy and operations in Fortune 200 organizations. Positioning businesses to grow strategically and expand through intelligent acquisitions and divestitures, he has achieved annual growth rates of more than 15 percent. Mr. Cooper has worked at the executive level for 28 years in multiple, large-scale IT services firms and systems integrators.
• Henry J. Sienkiewicz retired from the Federal Senior Executive Service (SES), most recently serving as Vice Chief Information Assurance Executive (CIAE) and Designated Approving Authority for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). He has extensive experience in IT management operations and leadership. In addition to his management skills, Mr. Sienkiewicz is a retired U.S. Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel and accomplished author of two books.
• Patrick R. Schambach is a recognized leader in the federal IT community, having served as the CIO for three different agencies during his federal career – U.S. Secret Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Transportation Security Administration. He brings unique insights from his 41-year career and is an accomplished business developer. During his tenure at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Mr. Schambach grew his business unit by 500 percent.
• Keith Trippie retired from the Federal Senior Executive Service (SES) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as the founder and Executive Director for the Enterprise System Development Office (ESDO) within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Mr. Trippie successfully led the department’s cloud, mobility and portfolio analytics initiatives. He is the founder and CEO of The Trippie Group LLC, which provides executive consulting services to help companies go to market in a number of innovative technology areas.
