Human Resources/Administration Management
TWD understands the breadth and sensitive nature of the areas managed by Administrative Officers (AO). Our experts are equipped to partner with AO and lift some of the administrative burden.
Staffing Plan
Managing and tracking a large program's staff can be complex and time consuming. To alleviate the burden on an AO, TWD's experts can:
- Process and track personnel actions and use this data to identify and implement revisions to the staffing plan
- Update and maintain agency human resource databases
- Provide advice and support for administrative procedures including employee in and out-processing and the employee orientation program and handbook
- Develop and gather statistics for manpower metrics reporting
- Help administer and control the personnel evaluation system
Career Development
TWD supports training and award programs that improve employee skills and provide incentives to strive for excellence.
Training
The Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requires that all employees be certified in their career field before they fill an acquisition position. Promotion within an acquisition field requires additional training. TWD professionals provide counseling and support to acquisition personnel in meeting DAWIA requirements and obtaining career field certification as well as membership in the Acquisition
Professional Community.
Operations Support
TWD professionals support all the activities associated with the operations portion of the AO's job, including security procedures and monitoring visitor access. . TWD's staff uses automated databases to assure the reliability and accuracy of security procedures, including monitoring control personnel, processing documentation for access badges, processing in-bound and out-bound Visitor Requests and maintaining a classified document control library.
