Strategic Planning

In today's marketplace, it is more important than ever to know where you are going and how to get there. TWD recognizes strategic planning as a crucial component to successful office management.

Our support in the area of strategic planning covers plan formulation, plan execution and finally continual plan review.

Plan Formulation

The first step in all strategic planning is the formulation of a comprehensive and flexible plan. TWD begins this process by working with the client to determine their long range goals.

These goals then are reviewed for practicality, ability to add value to the office and potential financial impact. When this is completed, TWD drafts and reviews the plan, before delivery to our clients.

Plan Execution

No strategic planning will work without the involvement of the entire office or organization. A key component of strategic planning is teamwork. The ideas may be generated at the top level of an organization but must be implemented at the worker level to be successful.

Plan execution includes an "All Hands" presentation of the plan and goals, team selection and regularly scheduled working sessions. TWD carefully prepares the presentations, hand-outs, website, and logistic details of the "All Hands" meetings.

TWD provides administrative support functions to the planning committee and individual teams to facilitate plan execution.

Plan Review

TWD assists our clients in semi-annual review of their plan with a focus on the continual evolution of the plan. To be successful strategic plans need to change with the changing needs of the organization. We also plan and implement the annual "All Hands" presentation to inform employees of changes to the plan.

Strategic plans will only succeed if there is a commitment to them; it is dependent upon continuing effort.
