TWD Adds Depth in Senior Leadership Names Irene Richwine to Business Development and Chris Ackerman to Integration Services

Arlington, VA – February 12, 2010 - TWD & Associates, Inc (TWD), a mid-tier federal contractor, announced today that it hired Irene Richwine as Director, Business Development and Chris Ackerman as Vice President EF&I Integration Services.

Irene Richwine will lead all Business Development for TWD as the company aggressively positions for growth. She joined TWD with 32 years of sales, operations, and program management experience in the federal, state, and commercial marketplace. Ms. Richwine brings extensive individual and leadership experience in sales, marketing, business development, and capture for the Federal Government marketplace having worked in that capacity at SAIC, HPTi, CACI, CIBER, and most recently Harris Corporation.

She has served as the Liaison for the Industry Advisory Council's (IAC) InfoSec and Privacy Shared Interest Group Government Advisory Board since 2004 and is a member of IAC's 2006 Partner Class. Ms. Richwine holds a B.A. in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross, an M.A. in International Politics and Economics from Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and an M.S. in Accounting from Georgetown University.

Chris Ackerman will lead TWD's Engineer, Furnish and Install (EF&I) Business Unit focused on voice, data, and video converged telecommunications solutions. He is recognized as an expert in the IT engineering field bringing over 18 years experience covering a broad spectrum of disciplines and industries. Mr. Ackerman has worked for Telecom Carriers, the Healthcare industry, and Government Contractors over his career; most recently CACI. Commensurate with his technical background is his experience leading engineering staff through practical,value-engineered achievements.

Mr. Ackerman has special experience in the Homeland Security market, having been key to several DHS contracted efforts. He served as a key engineering manager for the development of the DHS HQ migration to OneNet, coordinating solution development through HQ engineering, security, and the OneNet team. He also served as the Principal Engineer for the Coast Guard SBU network, managing complex communications engineering through the US and its territories. Mr. Ackerman holds an advanced degree and some of IT's most prestigious certifications including his CCIE, CISSP, and ITIL foundation. Mr. Ackerman earned an MBA in technology management.
