Arlington, VA – December 18, 2007 - TWD & Associates, Inc (TWD), a mid-tier federal contractor, announced today that it has appointed Michael Lee as its Chief Marketing Officer and Ron Gibbs its Executive Director of Operations.  The appointments reflect a strengthening of TWD’s senior management team as TWD positions itself to compete more effectively in the Federal IT space.  Gordon Aitken, TWD’s CEO, said that “TWD has enjoyed a boom in its national security business the last 3 years with prime contract awards in DOD and DHS (including EAGLE), and these appointments will help TWD accelerate and expand its record of growth and outstanding customer service.”  Mr. Lee is a thirty-four year industry veteran with previous executive management roles at SI International and CACI.  Mr. Gibbs has spent the last 10 years with TWD as a Program Manager and DoD Group Director.
