David B. Bivians joined TWD & Associates in 2001 and manages TWD's Managed Services offerings. He works with business unit leaders to develop and bring to market managed service versions of the company's technology solutions and services. These solutions and services are packaged to let customers purchase them on a subscription basis using either a cloud-based solution or a combination of on-site and off-premise resources..
Mr. Bivians has more than 30 years of experience managing and overseeing information technology projects and resources that facilitated the delivery of services to the federal government. Mr. Bivians academic accomplishments and experience managing emerging technologies facilitated his ability to successfully plan and implement several multimillion-dollar IT programs/projects that aligned organizational goals with technology solutions.
Mr. Bivians principally supported the engineering furnishing & installation and the operation & maintenance of Department of Defense applications and systems that include intranet portals, extranet portals, and customer relationship management websites such as Plumbtree and SharePoint.
Mr. Bivians earned a Master of Arts degree in Information Technology Management from Webster University along with several professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSS BB), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv3), Total Quality Management (TQM), and Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) certifications.
